Wanrak, an investigator, returns to her small hometown to solve the murder of Chankrapor, whose body was found buried beneath a Chan por tree.

There, she teams up with a sharp-tongued forensic doctor and Trichai, a helpful young lieutenant. But the deeper they dig into the case, the more mysterious and tangled it becomes.
