Mok Kwai Lan is a hardworking young woman living a simple life with her uncle, Mok Ping, and his adopted son, Yau Sam Shui, in Guangzhou. She works as a water labourer at a popular restaurant alongside her best friend, Kwai Fa, a talented assistant chef. Hoping to win Kwai Fa’s heart, Sam Shui dreams of becoming a student of the legendary martial artist Wong Fei Hung. Though uninterested in martial arts at first, Kwai Lan becomes captivated after witnessing a thrilling match between Fei Hung and Mizongyi fighter Fok Koon Wai—changing her life forever.
