Queen Juntayvee gave birth to a mysterious shell. Seizing the chance, Concubine Junta convinced the king to exile the queen and her shell. Five years later, a boy, Pra Sung, emerged from the shell. Fearing he might reclaim the throne, Junta sent soldiers to kill him. They threw Pra Sung into the sea, but he was rescued by the Dragon King and raised by a kind Giant Queen.

As Pra Sung grew older, he fled upon learning his adoptive mother was a giant, fearing for his life. He took with him a magical black mask that disguised him as an ugly jungle man. He wandered into a kingdom where seven princesses were choosing their husbands. The youngest, Princess Rotjana, saw through his disguise and chose him.

Pra Sung then set out to find his real mother and reclaim his rightful place in his birth kingdom.
