Pojaman is sent to live at Ban Sai Thong per her late father's wishes. There, she faces hostility from her relatives — the Sawangwongs. Treated more like a servant than family, only young Chai Noi and his nanny show her kindness.
One day, she meets Chai Klang, the stern middle son, who quickly takes her under his wing. He becomes her protector, teaching her strength and patience. Though Ban Sai Thong is rightfully hers after the grandfather's passing, Chai Klang fights for her respect and dignity, regardless of the family's resentment.
As their bond deepens, love begins to bloom. They marry, but Pojaman remains unsure — did Chai Klang marry her out of love or duty? And will his mother and sister ever accept her?
