Chui Kong Yan is a dedicated professional thriving at a property management company, living a seemingly perfect life with his wife, Helen Kwong. But their world turns upside down when they fall victim to an investment scam, losing a significant amount of money. As a consequence, Kong Yan is reassigned to Beijing to head a new branch—a move he sees as a chance to start over. He and Helen relocate to the North, hoping to rebuild their lives.

However, Kong Yan soon finds himself grappling with a midlife crisis, only to discover that his demotion was orchestrated by an old rival, Ding Chi Keung. Determined not to lose face, he chooses to stay and persevere. Complications arise when he reconnects with Su Fei, a woman from his past, straining his already fragile marriage.

At the same time, Kong Yan's siblings—Kong Man, a charismatic food influencer, and Po Yee, a free-spirited busker—each arrive in the North, drawn by their own dreams and challenges. Together, the siblings embark on an ambitious plan to transform an abandoned transformer station into a vibrant creative park.

As Kong Yan draws strength from his Buddhist values, he confronts personal and professional obstacles, fighting not only for his future, but for his family's unity and happiness.
