Ichiki Kurumi, a 25-year-old with a natural talent for cooking, returns to Japan after spending time in France and works as a waitress at a prestigious traditional restaurant. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ato Ichiro and his executive secretary, Koga Seiji, decide to hire a personal chef for the Prime Minister's residence for the first time in 70 years. After a chance encounter, Seiji recognizes Kurumi's gift and invites her to take the role. Though hesitant at first, she accepts — but soon finds herself facing challenges and tension from the existing kitchen staff as she tries to prove herself in this high-pressure, elite environment.
